School Login, Password Reset and Passkeys
School users sign in from https://portal.myschoolgh.com/login or https://portal.myschoolgh.com/app, can reset their password from the school auth flow, and can register or remove WebAuthn passkeys from Profile.
For School administrators, Accountants, Teachers, Students, Parents, Staff. Updated 2026-08-07.
Overview
The school portal login is available at https://portal.myschoolgh.com/login, and https://portal.myschoolgh.com/app now routes to the same login screen for compatibility with older links. School-side password reset is separate from admin password reset.
Users who have a compatible browser and device can register WebAuthn passkeys from Profile, then use a passkey prompt during login where supported. Passkeys are device/browser credentials; removing one from Profile prevents that credential from being used again.
If a school user must change their password, they should complete the password-change screen before trying other workflows.
Before you start
- Use a WebAuthn-compatible browser and device for passkeys
Steps
- Open https://portal.myschoolgh.com/login or https://portal.myschoolgh.com/app
- Enter school user credentials, or use the password reset link if the password is unknown
- After signing in, open Profile to update profile details or manage passkeys
- Select Add passkey and complete the device prompt
- Use the passkey option on future logins when the browser offers it
- Remove old passkeys from Profile when a device is replaced or no longer trusted
Common problems
An admin reset link does not work for a school user
Use the school login and school password reset pages for school users.
The passkey prompt does not appear
Passkeys require a supported browser/device and may require a secure context plus a configured device lock or biometric method.
An old https://portal.myschoolgh.com/app link opens login
https://portal.myschoolgh.com/app intentionally routes to the school login screen so older app links still lead users into the school portal.
