Bulk Import Teachers
Use the teacher CSV template to import contact, gender, address, residence, birth date, and date-joined information.

Overview
The teacher importer accepts firstName, otherNames, lastName, email, phone, gender, dateOfBirth, joinedAt, address, residence, position, department, qualification, specialization, and status columns. Dates must use the YYYY-MM-DD format. Preview the rows before committing, and the result shows how many were created versus failed.
Before you start
- Use the latest downloadable teacher sample
- Prepare unique teacher email addresses
Steps
- Open Teachers > Bulk Upload Teachers
- Download the sample
- Complete the supported columns
- Upload or paste the CSV
- Inspect the preview
- Commit the import
Common problems
A date is rejected
Enter dateOfBirth and joinedAt as YYYY-MM-DD.
A teacher email already exists
Use a unique email or update the existing teacher instead of importing a duplicate.
