Extract and Import Students from Scanned Admission Forms
Upload up to 12 clear form images, extract fields with AI, review every row and guardian, then import only the selected students.
For School administrators. Updated 2026-08-25.
Overview
The Admission Form Extractor accepts clear JPG, PNG, WebP, or other browser-supported image files, with one completed form per image and up to 12 files per extraction. It extracts names, contact and background details, requested class, guardians, confidence, warnings, and visible raw fields.
The extractor receives the school's current class guide so it can map written class names to real classes, but it is instructed not to invent missing emails, phone numbers, dates, classes, or guardians.
Extraction is only a preview: staff must review and correct the editable student and guardian fields, check confidence and warnings, choose which rows to use, and explicitly confirm the import. Import creates student records and the reviewed guardian relationships; failed rows are reported separately rather than hiding the result.
Before you start

- Select Import selected and confirm
- Review the created and failed counts
Common problems
Extraction fails before any preview appears
Retry with fewer, clearer files if the provider response is too large.
A class name is not mapped
Create the class first or manually correct the extracted class using the class reference before importing.
An extracted value is uncertain or wrong
Use the confidence badge, warnings, and visible source form to correct the row before importing; extraction is not an automatic final save.
