Manage the Admissions Pipeline

Add applicants and move them through New, Review, Interview, Offer, Accepted, or Rejected stages.

For School administrators. Updated 2026-08-01.

Overview

The admissions pipeline is a board with six fixed stages: New, Review, Interview, Offer, Accepted, and Rejected. Add an applicant with their name, contact details, and the class they are applying for, then move their card between stages by dragging it or using the stage buttons as the decision progresses.

Comments can be added to an applicant's card for internal notes.

Steps

  1. Open Admissions > Pipeline
  2. Select New application and enter the applicant's details
  3. Move the applicant card between stages as the decision progresses
  4. Add comments on the applicant card if needed
  5. Edit or delete an applicant from the card menu

Common problems

An accepted applicant does not automatically become a student

Accepting an applicant in the pipeline does not create a student record; re-enter the learner through Students > New Student, choosing the class and academic year, once admission is confirmed.
