Record Canteen Stock Updates
Log stock intake, adjustments, returns, and damage for canteen items separately from checkout sales.

Overview
Canteen Stock Updates keeps a dated ledger of every change to a menu item's stock outside of a checkout sale. Each entry records the update type (Intake, Adjustment, Return, or Damage), the quantity change, and the resulting stock level.
Before you start
- Add at least one canteen menu item
Steps
- Open Canteen > Stock Updates
- Select the item and update type (Intake, Adjustment, Return, or Damage)
- Enter the quantity change (use a negative number to reduce stock) and an optional note
- Save the entry
Common problems
An item's stock looks wrong after both checkout sales and a manual update changed it
Review the Stock Updates history for that item; each entry keeps the previous and new stock level, and checkout sales also reduce stock separately.
