Overview
A visit page walks through the clinical workflow: record vitals, add diagnosis and treatment notes (doctor-level access required), prescribe medication, order lab tests, book follow-up appointments and refer the patient. Closed visits are shown read-only. Allergy alerts appear when prescribing.
Steps
- Open the visit from Clinic Visits or the Queue
- Record vitals
- Enter diagnosis and treatment notes
- Add prescriptions or lab requests as needed
- Resolve or refer the visit
Common problems
I cannot edit diagnosis or treatment notes
These fields need the Manage Visits (doctor) permission; ask an admin to enable it for you on the Health Staff page.
