Create and Manage Houses
Create a house with a name, gender, and warden, then track its bed occupancy.

Overview
A house represents a boarding house or hostel with a gender setting (Mixed, Boys, or Girls) and an optional warden. Each house card shows an occupancy bar computed from its bed records. Editing and deleting a house both use the same update-level permission.
Before you start
- Enable Housing
Steps
- Open Housing
- Select New House
- Enter the name, gender, warden, and description
- Save
- Open the house to manage its beds
Common problems
Housing is not visible
Confirm the Housing feature is enabled and your account has housing read permission.
