Overview
Permissions: the “add meeting” permission (schedule) and the “edit meeting” permission/the “delete meeting” permission (manage) belong to Admins and HR managers. the “view meeting” permission, which enables the Mine and All switch on Meetings, belongs to Admins, HR managers and Directors. the “join meeting” permission, required to open the page and enter rooms, belongs to Admins, HR managers, Directors, Teachers, Employees, Accountants, Health staff, Bookstore managers and Transport managers.
Students and parents have no meeting access. Meetings are scoped to one school. Create, update, start, end and cancel are written to the audit log.
The module provides scheduling, invitations, the live video room and the guest waiting room; it does not currently store meeting minutes, recordings or an attendance register, so record minutes in your own document and use Communication or Documents for sharing them. The upcoming meetings of the signed-in person also appear on dashboards.
Steps
- Check the user type and permissions of the person who cannot see Meetings
- Admins can adjust role permissions if the school wants other staff to host meetings
