Link or Remove a Guardian on a Student's Profile
Search for an existing guardian or create a new one directly from the student's Guardians tab.

Overview
From a student's profile, the Guardians tab lets you search for an existing guardian by name, phone, or email and link them, or create a new guardian on the spot if no match is found; the first guardian linked to a student is automatically marked Primary.
Steps
- Open Students, select the student, and open the Guardians tab
- Search by name, phone, or email
- Select a matching guardian to link them, or select Create Guardian to add a new one and link it
- Use the remove action next to a guardian if the link is no longer needed
Common problems
A guardian receives no fee reminder
Confirm the guardian is linked to the student and has a valid phone number on file.
Removing a guardian link does not seem to work
This action can fail in the current build; if the guardian still appears after removal, contact support rather than retrying repeatedly.
