Adjust Marks (Moderation) With a Preview and a Reason
Add marks, scale them or set a class average, preview the effect, then apply with a recorded reason.

Overview
Academics > Adjust Marks (administrators and employees only) lets you change a subject's marks together. Choose the class, subject and term, pick the method (add marks, scale them, or set a class average), set the highest mark allowed and the pass mark for the summary, then See what would change.
The preview shows highest, lowest, class average and pass rate before and after and a student table. Enter a reason (it is kept with every changed mark) and confirm Adjust these marks. The page lists adjustments made this term. Teachers cannot adjust marks.
Steps
- Open Academics > Adjust Marks
- Choose class, subject and term and the adjustment method
- Click See what would change and review the preview
- Type the reason and confirm
Common problems
The Adjust Marks link is missing
It is for administrators and employees with academic update permission. Teachers cannot use it.
