Support Plans for Struggling Students

Create a plan with an owner, steps and a review date; close it with an outcome.

For School administrators, Teachers, Staff, Directors and proprietors. Updated 2026-10-09.

Overview

Academics > Support Plans tracks help for individual students. New plan asks for the student, what it is about (Academic, Attendance, Behaviour, Wellbeing or Other), the concern, an optional goal, an owner (defaults to you), a review date and a list of steps. Plans move through In progress, Being reviewed and Closed; Review overdue is flagged.

Close plan asks for the outcome. You can also start a plan from Students Needing Attention. Directors view plans read-only.

Steps

  1. Open Academics > Support Plans and click New plan
  2. Search for the student and describe the concern
  3. Add steps, an owner and a review date and Start plan
  4. Close the plan with an outcome when resolved
