Answer a Survey from My Surveys
Open My Surveys, choose Answer survey, fill the required questions, then Send answers and confirm; each survey can be answered once and answers cannot be edited.

Overview
My Surveys lists open surveys addressed to you that you have not yet answered, soonest closing date first. Each card shows the kind, title, description, number of questions, how many days are left to close, and an Anonymous label when relevant.
It is available to students, parents and school staff accounts such as teachers, employees, accountants, health staff, bookstore managers, transport managers and HR managers; no special permission is needed.
Select Answer survey to open the form: a progress bar shows how many questions are answered, required questions have a red asterisk, and a header states either "Anonymous: your name is never stored with your answers" or "Your name is kept with your answers".
Ratings are 1 to 5, Single choice requires one listed option, Yes or no needs one of the two, and Written answers must be under 2,000 characters. Press Send answers; if required questions are missing they are highlighted and you are told "Please answer the required questions".
Otherwise a confirmation "Send your answers?" appears, and after you confirm, the answers are recorded and a thank-you message appears. You must answer at least one question. You cannot change answers after sending, and the survey disappears from your list. If you open one you already answered, you see "You have already answered this survey. Thank you."

- An Open survey whose audience includes your user type
- The survey must be within its opening and closing dates
Steps
- Open My Surveys from the sidebar
- Select Answer survey on a card
- Answer each question; required ones are marked with an asterisk
- Select Send answers
- Review the confirmation and choose to send; you will see a thank-you message
Common problems
My Surveys says "You are all caught up" but I expected a survey
The survey may be a draft, closed, outside its dates, aimed at a different audience, limited to a class you are not in, or you may have already answered it.
Error "This survey is not accepting answers right now"
The survey was closed or its closing date passed while you were answering. Contact the school if you still need to respond.
Error "You have already answered this survey"
Each person can respond only once. Answers cannot be changed after sending.
I get "Please answer: <question>" or "Pick a rating from 1 to 5"
Answer every required question and use a valid value (a star rating from 1 to 5, a listed choice, yes or no).
