Send an SMS Broadcast
Compose an SMS, review recipient and unit estimates in the confirmation dialog, then confirm sending.

Overview
Broadcast sends an SMS to a chosen audience (all guardians, guardians of a class, students, or custom phone numbers). Before delivery, a confirmation dialog shows the audience, campaign name, message length, units per recipient, and estimated total units.
Sending requires SMS notifications to be turned on in Settings and enough SMS balance for the estimated units.
Before you start
- Turn on SMS notifications in Settings
- Maintain enough SMS credits
- Register an approved Sender ID when required
Steps
- Open Communication > Broadcast
- Choose the audience and optional class
- Optionally select a template or enter a campaign name
- Write the message
- Select Send broadcast
- Review the confirmation details and confirm
Common problems
Sending fails saying no recipients were found
The chosen audience has no matching contacts; try a different audience or check that guardians have phone numbers on file.
Sending fails saying SMS notifications are turned off
Turn on SMS notifications under Settings > Notifications, then try again.
Sending fails with an insufficient balance message
Open the SMS wallet and purchase more credits before sending.
