Every MySchoolGH Feature and Where to Find It (Overview)

A guide to every module: the always-on core modules, the optional modules you can enable or hide, and where each appears in the sidebar.

For School administrators, Directors and proprietors, HR managers, Accountants, Teachers, Staff. Updated 2026-10-09.

Overview

MySchoolGH is organised into modules. Core modules are always on: Dashboard (Overview stats and quick actions). Setup (School profile, academic periods, structure, courses). Settings (School and account settings). Support (Help and support requests). Students (Student records and enrollment). Parents & Guardians (Guardian records and portal access).

Teachers (Teacher records). Classes & Subjects (Class and course management). Payments (Fee categories, allocation, bills, and collections).

Optional modules can be shown or hidden from Settings > Feature Modules, and some also need to be part of the school plan: Employees, Admissions, ID Cards, Housing, Academics, Assessments, Certificates, Exams, Attendance, Online Lessons, Elections, Games & Kids Zone, Accounting, Banking, Scholarships, Reports, Alumni, Fundraising, Fixed Assets, Library, Bookstore, Canteen, Transport, Health, Operations Center, HR & Payroll, Leave Manager, Meetings, Appraisals & Training, Recruitment, Communication, Chat, Documents, Surveys, Extensions.

Detailed lists by area are in the guides for People, Academics, Finance, Campus services, HR, Communication and Platform modules.

Some pages are not separate switches and are simply available when the role has permission: Counselling & Welfare, Safe Pick-up and the Dismissal Desk, Procurement and Petty Cash, Journals and Financial Statements, Staff Loans, and Meetings. If a module you expect is missing, see “A Feature or Menu Is Missing”.

Steps

  1. Open Settings > Feature Modules to see every optional module and its state
  2. Use the area guides to find where a module lives in the sidebar
  3. For a module marked Upgrade required, contact MySchoolGH support

Common problems

I cannot find a module in the list

Core modules never appear on the Feature Modules page because they cannot be hidden. Some pages, such as Welfare or Procurement, are part of other modules and are controlled by permission rather than a switch.
