Enable or Disable Feature Modules (Show, Hide, Enable all, Disable all)
Settings > Feature Modules lists every optional module with an On or Hidden switch, plus Enable all and Disable all buttons. A module marked Upgrade required is not part of the school plan and must be enabled by MySchoolGH support.

Overview
Feature Modules (Settings > Feature Modules) controls which modules appear in the school's sidebar. Modules come in two kinds. Core modules (Dashboard, Setup, Students, Parents & Guardians, Teachers, Classes & Subjects, Payments, Settings and Support) are always on and never appear on this page.
Optional modules (Admissions, Employees, ID Cards, Academics, Assessments, Certificates, Attendance, Exams, Accounting, Banking, Communication, Library, Bookstore, Canteen, Transport, Chat, Online Lessons, Elections, Games, Housing, Health, Operations Center, HR & Payroll, Leave Manager, Appraisals & Training, Recruitment, Alumni, PTA & Fundraising, Surveys, Fixed Assets, Reports and Extensions) each have a card showing one of three states: On (green, shown in the sidebar), Hidden (grey, switched off by the school) or Upgrade required (the school's plan does not include it).
Click On or Hidden on a card to switch just that module. Two buttons sit opposite the page title: Enable all turns every module the plan includes back on in one click, and Disable all hides every module the plan includes after a confirmation dialog (you can undo it with Enable all).
Both buttons ignore modules marked Upgrade required, and each is greyed out when it would change nothing. Hiding a module only removes it from the sidebar; the data is kept and the module returns the moment you switch it back on.
The sidebar refreshes right after you change a switch, and switching to a different campus reloads that campus's own list, so each campus keeps its own hidden modules. Changing features needs the “edit school feature” permission permission (or the “edit school settings” permission); people without it can view the page but not change anything.
A module can be hidden even when a person has permission for it, and a person with permission still will not see a link to a module that is hidden or not included in the plan.
Steps
- Open Settings and select Feature Modules
- Find the module card and click On or Hidden to switch it
- Use Enable all to show every available module, or Disable all (then confirm) to hide every available module
- If a card says Upgrade required, contact MySchoolGH support to have that feature enabled for the school
- Check the sidebar; it updates straight away, and a campus switch loads that campus’s own list
Common problems
I hid a module but it is still in the sidebar
Confirm the card now shows Hidden, then refresh the page once. If it still shows, the page may belong to a different campus: each campus has its own Feature Modules list.
A card shows Upgrade required and cannot be switched on
The module is not part of the school plan. Ask MySchoolGH support to enable the feature for the school; the school admin cannot grant it from this page.
I cannot change any switch
Changing features needs the “edit school feature” permission or the “edit school settings” permission. Ask a school administrator to grant it, or have them make the change.
Enable all did not bring back a module
Enable all only restores modules your plan includes. Modules marked Upgrade required stay off until support enables them.
