Configure Notification Channels
Choose which channels the school uses for outgoing notifications, applied immediately.

Overview
Notification preferences control whether in-app notifications, SMS, and email are used for school communications. Each toggle saves immediately without a separate save button. Turning SMS off here also blocks SMS broadcasts and fee reminders even when there is enough SMS balance.
The Notifications tab can also be granted narrowly via the “view school notification” permission/the “edit school notification” permission instead of the blanket “edit school settings” permission.
Steps
- Open Settings > Notifications
- Toggle In-app notifications, SMS notifications, or Email notifications as needed
Common problems
SMS broadcasts or fee reminders fail to send
Check that SMS notifications are turned on here; broadcasts and reminders are blocked when this channel is off, regardless of SMS balance.
