Manage Billing and Subscription
Choose a package and pay any amount; the amount is converted into prorated days of access at the package's daily rate and always stacks on top of any time the school already has left, regardless of which package is chosen.

Overview
Each school has one current subscription. A package's daily rate is its price divided by 120 days (one term = 4 months = 30 days/month), so any amount paid converts into a precise number of days rather than forcing a payment to round up to a whole term.
The Billing & Subscription tab shows package cards with per-tier icons and feature checklists, a currency input for the amount, and quick-pick buttons that prefill common term amounts.
The access-time preview always stacks the newly paid days on top of the school's current expiry date when that date is still in the future — this holds even when the school switches to a different package mid-subscription, so remaining paid time is never discarded by a plan change.
Selecting a different package always clears the amount field, since a price typed against one package's rate does not carry over to another. The Trial package has no price and cannot be purchased. Payment history lists invoices for completed payments and each can be opened as a printable invoice.
The Billing tab can also be granted narrowly via the “view school billing” permission/the “edit school billing” permission instead of the blanket “edit school settings” permission. For a campus in a group, Billing & Subscription shows the main school's plan, and a payment from any campus extends the group plan.
Before you start
- Use a school administrator account
- Complete payment through Paystack
Steps
- Open Settings > Billing & Subscription
- Review the current plan, status, and end date
- Choose a paid package card
- Type the amount to pay, or select a quick-pick button to prefill a common term amount
- Review the access-time preview — it stacks the new days on top of any time already remaining, whichever package was chosen
- Select Pay securely with Paystack and complete payment
- Return to the page and verify the updated end date and invoice history
Common problems
The Trial package cannot be selected
Trial is assigned only to new registrations and has no price; select a paid package to continue service.
An invoice or the new end date is missing after payment
Payment verification runs automatically when returning from Paystack using the reference in the URL; refresh the page and check again shortly, then contact support if it still does not appear.
The new expiry date shown looks earlier than the school's current expiry, especially after switching packages
If the number still looks wrong, refresh the page so the preview is comparing against the latest saved subscription record, then contact support with the before/after dates if it persists.
The amount field shows a leftover figure from a package that was previously selected
Selecting any package card clears the amount field automatically, since a price typed against one package's daily rate is not valid for another. Type or quick-pick a fresh amount for the newly selected package.
