Create Subjects and Courses
Create subjects manually before assigning them to classes and teachers.

Overview
Courses are the subjects taught in the school, each with a name and a course code. Creating a course only adds it to the course list; it does not automatically attach the course to a class. Use Classes & Courses or Class Assignments to attach courses to classes, and assign teachers later when teacher records are ready.
Onboarding can also create Ghana curriculum subjects and automatically assign them to matching classes.
Steps
- Open Setup > Courses
- Select New course
- Enter the course name and course code
- Add an optional description
- Save
Common problems
A course exists but does not appear in a class
Open Class Assignments and attach the course to that class.
