Configure Grade Bands
Define grade bands with a label, score range, and remark used across results, report cards, and transcripts.

Overview
Grade bands translate a final score into a grade label and remark for results, report cards, and transcripts. Use defaults for the standard bands: A 80-100 Advance, B 75-79 Proficient, C 70-74 Approaching Proficiency, D 65-69 Developing, E 50-64 Beginning, and F 40-49 Need Booster Support.
A current academic year and term must be set first because grade bands are saved for the current academic period.
Before you start
- Mark a current academic year
- Mark a current academic term
Steps
- Open Setup > Academics
- Select Use defaults, or select Add band to add a Label, Minimum score, Maximum score, and Remark
- Save grade bands
Common problems
A result shows no grade or remark
Confirm grade bands cover the score range and that the correct academic year and term are current.
