Record interview feedback and outcome
After the interview use Record feedback on the applicant's Interviews tab: pick Done or Did not show up, add a rating (1-5), recommendation and written feedback. Feedback is required to mark Done.
For School administrators, HR managers. Updated 2026-10-09.
Overview
On the applicant's Interviews tab each scheduled interview has a Record feedback action (needs the “edit recruitment” permission). The "Interview feedback" box asks for Outcome (Done or Did not show up), Rating (1 to 5), Recommendation (Hire, Maybe or No hire) and Feedback text (up to 4000 characters). Saving shows "Feedback saved".
The system will not let you mark an interview as Completed without written feedback: "Add your feedback before marking the interview done." Interview statuses are Scheduled, Completed, Cancelled and No show. Recording feedback does not move the applicant automatically; afterwards move them to Offer or Rejected yourself on the board or by making an offer.
Past interviews can be reviewed from Recruitment > Interviews > Past.
Before you start
- A scheduled interview
- The “edit recruitment” permission permission
Steps
- Open the applicant and go to the Interviews tab.
- Click Record feedback on the interview.
- Choose the Outcome: Done or Did not show up.
- Set a Rating, a Recommendation and write your Feedback.
- Save, then move the applicant to the next stage.
Common problems
"Add your feedback before marking the interview done."
Type feedback in the Feedback box; a Completed interview must have written feedback.
The applicant did not move to Offer after good feedback.
Stages do not change automatically on feedback. Make an offer (which moves them to Offer) or drag them to the next column.
