Learning activities with no clock and no losing
Kids Zone is a gentle activity space for the youngest learners: trace letters, colour pictures, rebuild puzzles, hunt for words and count shapes. There are no timers and no leaderboards, and every attempt ends in success.
- Trace letters. Practise letters, learn A–Z in small groups or trace two-letter words with a finger or mouse, with optional spoken audio.
- Colouring book. Pick a colour, tap a region to fill it and save finished pictures to a personal gallery.
- Puzzles and word hunts. Swap tiles to rebuild a picture, or find hidden words in a letter grid at a child’s own pace.
- Shapes and numbers. Count objects and match shapes, with a celebration screen and XP on completion.
How it works
- Open Kids Zone. Students open Kids Zone from their home screen when the school has the games module on.
- Pick an activity. Choose from tracing, colouring, puzzles, word hunts or shapes and numbers.
- Celebrate. Finishing any activity shows a celebration and awards XP.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a leaderboard?
No. Kids Zone has no clock and no leaderboard by design; XP simply feeds the student’s games profile.
Who can use it?
It is built for early-years students and is switched on with the games module.
