A home screen for every student, teacher and guardian
Students see what is due, hand in work, sit online tests and read their results. Teachers see what needs marking today. Guardians follow their child. Everyone gets notified, and class groups keep the conversation in one place.
- Hand in work online. Written answers and up to three files, within the attempt limit, with the late penalty shown up front. Teachers open each student’s work and mark it with feedback.
- Online tests, timed on the server. Tests auto-mark multiple-choice and true/false, and the clock runs on the server so refreshing the page cannot restart the timer.
- Results that flow through. Marked assignments and tests can be pulled into the term’s class-work and exam marks in one click, using your own split, then graded and approved as usual.
- Notifications & class groups. Alerts for new work, marks, tests, results, registration and clearance. Teachers open class or subject groups, optionally read-only for students, with guardians included.
How it works
- Publish work. Publish an assignment or test; students and their guardians are notified straight away.
- Hand in and mark. Students hand in before the due date; teachers see a marking queue and open each submission.
- Release results. Pull the marks into the term result, submit for approval, and results appear on each student’s portal.
Frequently asked questions
Can a student see other students’ work or marks?
No. Students and guardians only ever receive their own records, and class-wide screens are closed to them on the server, not just hidden in the menu.
What happens if a student submits a test after time is up?
Their answers are kept, but the paper is held for the teacher to review instead of being auto-scored and released.
Can teachers post announcements to a class?
Yes. A note to a class notifies its students and their guardians, and shows on their home screen.
